Therapy Dogs To The Rescue
I am often reminded of how important animals are in the healing process when I see my dogs with children who come to work with me. The other day, a little girl spent her entire therapy session on the floor wih her arms wrapped around my large white standard poodle, Jimmy. Somehow, she found comfort in lying beside him and stroking his back as we spoke. Dogs do so much for us if we let them.
